Hey, sassies! We hope all of you college kids are prepared for your finals coming up if you haven’t already taken them! We’re praying for you to end the semester with a 4.0! Or close, LOL! Last weekend we went to a really lovely event at Do or Dye Salon on Washington in Houston! They hosted The Deeply Co. [ A Traveling Music + Art Show ], Jillian Edwards being the beautiful mind behind the idea. She has the voice of an angel, literally, and she’s a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. The whole idea behind the event was to bring all types of beauty together in one creative space to feature local art. Whether it be music, art, or even a braid bar. And that’s exactly what the event was like. Great people. Great music. Great art. We loved it. The gals from the salon gave everyone the daintiest braids with sweet little flowers. We tried a new drink that was only 45 calories, NOW we got your attention! It’s called Tekeen, find it at a Spec’s closest to you. They will also be in HEB fairly soon, YES. So yeah, the whole evening was just phenomenal and we got to share it with one of our closest friends. The Deeply Co will be hosting other events, so check out Jillian’s website to see if they will be close to you! You won’t regret it!
