Good evening, sassies! I hope everyone has been staying warm these past couple of days! By no means has Houston been blown over by a blizzard, but we sure have experienced some chilly temps. I’m a Texas girl. Meaning I don’t do cold. Ever. I was so cold today I ran a bath JUST to stick my feet in because, ya know, it’s freezing outside. Not really but you get the picture!

We recently ran a poll for some Q&A topics on our Instagram and we are pretty stoked that you all actually had some questions for us! Seriously, y’all are fabulous. We hope this helps anyone that took the time to comment on our post!
When will you be doing a hair tutorial?
We are working on it! It definitely takes sometime filming and getting it just right for all of you, so pretty please be patient with us as we are NOT tech savvy LOL!
How long ago did you start your blog? And best start up tip!
We started Double Shot of Sass almost a year ago and it was exciting, nerve-racking, scary, and exhilarating all at the same time! We really took our time finding a web designer because we were extremely particular on what we wanted our brand to look like. We launched in January 2015 and we never looked back. It has been the best adventure for us.
Our best start up tip is to be picky and to be patient! All things that are good take time and it’s important to realize it’s not a race– it’s a journey and every milestone is crucial in your growth as a blogger! Perfection doesn’t happen overnight and that’s okay!
What are your “go to” products on your hair? From shampoo to styling tools?
WOW! This is going to take awhile 🙂 So, our favorite shampoo & conditioner is by Moroccan Oil! They have quite a few different types for certain hair textures (hydrating, moisturizing, smoothing, and volumizing) and we are avid fans! It’s a little pricey but well worth it! We also LOVE their styling products! And for styling tools we love Hot Tools, Bombay, and CHI.
What kind of camera do y’all use? And editor?
We use a Canon Rebel T1i with a 50 mm lens! And honestly, we edit all of our pictures on our phone with the Afterlight app! I told y’all, we are not tech savvy!
What are your can’t live without beauty products?
If I was stranded, I would want my Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara and Nars Radiant Creamy concealer!
So there’s all the main questions we were asked and we hope we answered them all to our best ability! Stay tight for a hair tutorial, it’s coming your way very soon!
