Happy Tuesday! This past weekend was full of weddings (I painted 23 faces), a birthday dinner for one of our bestie’s, and crashed a wedding! I never thought that I would be a #weddingcrasher but hey, never say never!

I have a new found love for the 70’s and just about everything is in vintage yellow. Most call it mustard but I think canary sounds prettier, don’t you think? Canary yellow was one of those colors that I never thought I could wear. I thought it was way too bold for my fair complexion and I truly never gave it a chance. With a summer tan and fresh highlights, I finally feel like I can pull it off! Can we talk about this top in particular? I love the straight across neckline and the skinny spaghetti straps…it makes it feel so feminine but structured. I’m in love with any top that gives a shoutout to your clavicle bone (yes, I’m aware how weird that sounds), and I love how this one gives the allusion of an off-the-shoulder top meets a cold shoulder. H can’t wear OTS tops anymore because Lily likes to pull them down to her belly button and flashing ain’t her thing so I always take one for the team LOL! Anyway, I paired this top with my favorite high waisted jeans and I felt like a 2017 Brigitte Bardot.

If you have an unhealthy obsession with this color as much as I do, take a look at what I found!
