Happy Friday! I’m currently working from bed because it is so dang cold, I can’t even get up to get in the shower (P.S. it’s 6:46 AM to be exact!) I’m aware that the northern part of the country is dying of laughter by how all of us Texans are reacting to this winter storm but we’re not acclimated to these kind of conditions. WE DON’T EVEN GET SEASONS. So a winter frenzy shutting down the city is kind of a big deal!

I wanted to share with you a little something about these shoes. Our entire lives, Hailey and I have always shared clothes and accessories. We were really good at getting two different things, for example one twin get a tan purse and one twin get a black purse, and then we would switch. The only rule was that who ever picked out the specific item they got to wear it first. Apparently, Hailey forgot that rule. Last week, H and I were headed to a  meeting. I was coming from the Saltflat studio and she was coming from home. We were on the phone going over some points when I asked her what she was wearing. Low and behold she utters “I’m wearing a white bell sleeve top and your new pink suede heels.” I’m sorry…what? I had bought them the day before wanting to wear them for the meeting but decided against it because it was raining and really gross outside. Suede and torrential downpour do not go hand and hand. Long story short, I made Hailey go home and get another pair of shoes because she broke the one and only rule of borrowing from each other. I think she remembers now. She blamed it on her pregnancy brain but I seriously think she was trying to pull a fast one on me. Sisterly love, right?

I hope you have a fantastic weekend! I have a day full of appointments and then tomorrow I’m headed up to Dallas to stay with Paul for a few days! What are your weekend plans?
