Happy Tuesday! I didn’t get a blog post up yesterday, I spent the morning getting breakfast and had a little day date before I drove back to Houston with Paul. We went to brunch at Bread Winners (SO GOOD!) and then went to the aquarium! I never get enough time with him, I was so excited he went in to work late so we could have the morning together! It’s the little things!
So these pants, guys. I wasn’t totally sure if I was going to like these. I tried them on at Madewell and I just wasn’t totally sold but bought them anyways! And…I’m so glad I did! Sometimes, just one compliment can change your mind about an outfit or item you’re unsure of! While we were at dinner, a girl came up to me and exclaimed she was obsessed with my pants and wanted to know where to get them. I instantly was sold on them! Plus they’re like fancy pajama pants, they’re so comfy!
My velvet obsession is so real right now. I could buy absolutely everything in the fabric and not be ashamed if my whole ensemble turned up being velvet. Here are a few of my favorite pieces adorned with the fabric of the hour:
